Why did Weezer make money touring last year and people from Rihanna to the Eagles had to cancel concerts?
A drop of 26% in concert revenue and still Weezer, a good band no doubt, but no Eagles, managed to make a profit. Why?
Here are a coupla reasons:
1. Cheap tix.
2. They only played where they had fans.
Imagine that, they played major markets they knew they could sell out.
Of course that means some markets are under represented.
This goes to the heart of what my friends are trying to do: discover where the fans are.
