Lee Crystal – The drummer behind the frill at the start of “I Love Rock And Roll” and played drums on Joat Jetts biggest hits with the Blackhearts was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1993. He became a music teacher until the illness caught up with him.

Maxine Powell – Smokey Robinson wasn’t born the smoothest gentleman in music history, he had to be taught and “Maven Of Motown Style’ Powell  was the woman who taught Smokey and the other members of the Motown family the elements of style. She died at 98.

Wadih El Safih – A King of Lebanese pop music who put colloquial Lebanese into song alongside such giants as Egyptian pop maestro  Farid El Attrach and crossover  Fairuz. One of the most beloved pop stars in Lebanon, if you can hear Arab pop, you’d love him.

Noel Harrison – The great actor Rex Harisson’s son who took the theme song from The McQueen- Dunaway movie “The Thomas Crown Affair” “The Windmills Of Your Mind” and a recurring role in “The Girl From Uncle” and became a star.

Jan kuehnemund – Former guitarist with Vixen and a hottie par excellence got cancer and died at the age of 51 and mores the pity.
