1. Walking In The Rain – The Ronettes – A Weill-Mann classic, and the big boom drums spur it like an undercurrent of feeling and Ronnie sounds so deep into the feelings which are pretty awesome as well: this one is a real dream of love because it doesn’t even really exist, it is like a day dream of what it will be like – A+
2. The Hall Of Mirrors – Kraftwerk – “even the greatest stars dislike themselves in the looking glass”? Spooky atmospherics but still with a melodic lick – B+
3. Dies Irae – Wendy Carlos – The woman with a moog, worked with Kubrick one more time, this translate to “Day Of Wrath” which seems pretty damn apt to me. It is a music so fraught with danger and rage it was perfect for “The Shining” opening credits – B+
4. Paranoid – Black Sabbath – This is a two and a half minute rocker as pure pop for then people – A
5. Every One Is Gay – A Great Big World – Lemme guess, it is one big world right? – C
6. Waves – Young The Giant – – This is a type of ambient mood music, it is pretty but etheral – B
7. Glad To Be Gay – Tom Robinson Band – Remember when gay was scary, I know, it still can, I meant when people sang about it being scary – A+
8. Smell Of Gasoline – Reverend Horton Heat – Old time rock and roll full charge ahead – B
9. Cream – Cazzette – The first big dance album of 2014 offers a very old fashioned sound, if you put it next to mid70s Kraftwerk you can see the seams – B+
10. Team – Lorde – This was the first Lorde song I review, nearly a year ago now! – B
