1. Let’s Get Lost – Elliott Smith – Some obscure reference to the legendary Chet Baker –another guy gone before his time and another hard time druggy, and another little boy lost – A

2. But Not For me – Chet Baker – He not only played the trumpet with great tone and fragility, he sang the same way – A

3. Pieces – Trixie Whitley – Pulled off Four Corners, it is a song Trixie has had in her trunk for a long time and a centerpiece of her live show – A

4. Fool In The Rain – Led Zeppelin – This is one classic riff and because it is late period Zep it is much less irritating with none of that olde England crap – A

5. I Just Want To See Out My Funeral – The Wonder Years – Major conceptual coup d’etat – A

6. Blues Runs The Game – Jackson c. Franks – It reminds me of “Rex’s Blues”… that sorta stuff – A

7. Dandy In The Underworld – T Rex – Best song title ever and the song to live up to it – A

8. Can’t Remember to Forget You – Shakira And Rihanna – OK, not a shocking prediction but still if this isn’t inescapable  for the rest of the winter I will be shocked. It is a goodie as well – B+

9. Heart Of darkness – Pere Ubu –  How skittish can a rhythm be, it is like a horse that is waiting to bolt – A-

10.  Trying To Get To You – Phil Gammage – This man is awesome. It is hard to imagine a better Presley cover, absolutely flawless take. Phil’s voice would make the King proud. A
