1. Shot Me Down with Skylar Grey – David Guetta – One of the most thoroughly irrelevant dance tracks Guetta has put his name on since 2010, “Bang Bang” is given a stop start tempo. Skylar’s well sub Nancy Sinatra vocal interrupted by lashings of bass and drums. Mildly irritating – B
2. We Dem Boyz – Wiz Khalifa – “we dem boyz, we making noise, holla…” I see – C+
3. Beauty Of The Unhidden Heart (feat Sister Crayon) – The Glitch Mob – Lovely electronica ephemary – A-
4. Telepathy – Crosses – I love their sound, but I don’t like the intensity and the song isn’t much – C+
5. Dizzy Heights – Neil Finn – Title track and the best song off his newbie, it is has a vertiginous feel to the break and the strongest melody of the bunch here – B+
6. Everything’s Gonna Be Undone Acoustic – Band Of Horses – Maybe I underestimate their boring but sometimes tuneful classic rock thing – B+
7. Cigarettes – Noah Gundersen – Give it a minute and it kicks in nicely, singer songwriter strength once you get past the first minute or so – A-
8. Automatic – Miranda Lambert – Uneventful but pretty enough country song – B
9. I Don’t Believe It’s Enough – Greg Laswell – So I guess this is the week of the singer songwriter? Beautifully produced ballad – B+
