1. Juju Man – Brinsley Schwarz – Ever wonder why Brinsley Schwartz never made it? Compare this plodding country rock to Dave Edmund’s sparkling and sexy take. The harmonies on the chorus kill it, the drawl is the reverse of the never sing with a fake British accent and the organ is a drag – C

2. Juju Man – Jim Ford – Yes, this is the guy who wrote it and this demo version is absolutely brilliant, the guitar is all tingly guitar picking and the song is a road of recovery – A

3. The Knack – Squeeze – 1978 John Peel session take, finds them more prog rock than I remember – B

4. The More I See You – Michael Feinstein – The extended intro is lovely, you forget this stuff after so many years of having it not performed – B+

5. Go Ahead And Go Home – Iris DeMent – The sweetest South of the Mississippi – A

6. Me Myself And I – De La Soul – Sort of art rock for nursery rhymers – A

7. Stay The Night – Zedd and Hayley Williams – This would be a great song without the EDM stuff, with it it floats into the highest reaches of modern pop – A

8.  Dibby Dibby Sound – DJ Fresh – This is a quasi reggae beat plus lotsa bass and a hard bounce that is just plain fun – A-

9. Proper Moist – Sweet little rubber dub dub – A

10. Shelter Song – Temples – Wow, this is like Brian Jonestown Massacre without the arrogance or accent – A-
