It’s extremely regrettable that not one major media outlet has published a follow-up to this disgraceful story. From NPR to CNN, Vice, Rolling Stone…, the headlines have been accusatory despite the use of the word ‘alleges.’ ‘Lawsuit Alleges Sexual Abuse By Bob Dylan’… ‘Lawsuit alleges Bob Dylan sexually abused a 12-year-old in 1965’… ‘Bob Dylan Sexually Abused a 12-Year-Old in 1965, New Lawsuit Alleges’… ‘Bob Dylan Accused of Sexually Abusing 12-Year-Old Girl in 1965,’ you still can read everywhere. Besides a few articles – like this one published by Rolling Stone – questioning the legitimacy of the lawsuit because the timeline doesn’t fit Dylan’s busy schedule in 1965 according to biographers and other Dylanologists, not one of the above media has published a follow-up. In fact, two weeks have passed and mainstream media have remained terribly silent. Why hasn’t anyone revealed what a fraud this lawsuit is?
Zeus News has been the leading voice on the case, outing not only the real name of the accuser – self-proclaimed America’s top psychic Joan Carra – but also revealing how unethical her two lawyers (Peter Gleason, and Daniel Isaacs) are: Isaacs ‘accepted a bribe from an undercover FBI agent in 2013,’ and Gleason ‘offered his multimillion-dollar Upper East Side flat as a bond for a woman who ran a USD$15 million underage brothel operation frequented by Charlie Sheen.’
Since the day the lawsuit has been all over the news, Zeus News has restlessly researched the case. This led to the publication of several articles that have provided more evidence that Joan Carra is indeed the person behind the lawsuit, the person who is claiming that Bob Dylan abused her for six weeks in New York when she was just 12. She has discussed the case with Zeus News and one of her emails is even revealed here. The woman, who pretends to be in communication with dead people and angels, has also changed her mind regarding a 1966 photo showing a young girl whispering in Dylan’s ear. After claiming for years that she was the girl on the photo, Zeus News has proof that Carra has messaged websites to request her name to be removed, claiming that she was talking about another photograph (a photo featured on Bob Dylan’s ‘Bonde on Blonde’ album). The problem for Carra is that this new photo doesn’t feature a 12-year-old girl but a grown-up woman, ‘Lady Sandra Suffolk,’ whose real identity is still a mystery. The fact that Carra is trying to associate herself with Dylan in old photos is another evidence of her desperate attempt to infiltrate the famous singer-songwriter’s past. This is all explained on Zeus News.
This is very clear, Joan Carra, the person behind the lawsuit against Bob Dylan, is a fraud with zero credibility. In two weeks, Zeus News’ website has received thousands and thousands of hits, but mainstream media have remained silent. Why? Could it be because they are all terribly embarrassed (and pissed off) that all the work has been done by someone who was not one of them? Could it be because they are all afraid to go after a woman during this #metoo era?
Meanwhile, Bob Dylan’s name has been shamed, and since headlines are often the only thing that people read, Dylan’s name is now on the same list as other famous abusers, everywhere on social media. One of our greatest musical legends has been trashed and his reputation unnecessarily tarnished: this is not acceptable, and the media have a large part of the responsibility in this deplorable story.
