rock nyc’s 10th Anniversary Celebration: Whitney’s Back… New album dropping September 1st, 2009

(from this July 2009 mention to her death, I wrote about Whitney often. As a huge fan, I resented and ignored those who claimed she was back on drugs and waited impatiently for the US Tour – IL)
Whitney Houston was the best vocalist to come out of the 80s. Even the weakest of songs were saved by that stunning Mezzo-Soprano. Try “The Bodyguard” Sountrack or “My Love Is Your Love” or “The Ultimate Collection” -a 2 CD greatest hits stunning in its consistency and revelatorary on the throw down CD!!
With a decade of drugs and Bobby Brown out of her life, Houston’s new album will be released,”I Turn to You” September 1st, 2009. Undoubtedly it will be the event of the Pop Music Fall Season. Let’s hope we get a concert as well.
