Comment: Word is, the music business has had their best year all decade, everything is up, but a look at the sales/stream numbers here suggests it isn’t so. Mac Miller garnered 48,000 units (32,000 in traditional album sales) and it is not a very big number… it certainly isn’t a social phenomena by any stretch. The only way for this to be a great number is for sales to be stretched among a very very large amount of artists.
