Comment: When Kenny Chesney dropped Drake last week, it was obvious that the bundle with Arena tour tickets was the reason and this week EAUs have dropped by 93% and it has fallen from # 1 to # 38. Meanwhile, Nav also gained by multi-bundles of various formats (cassettes, CDs, vinyl of course) and nearly $300 hoodies. But nobody is forcing in the sense merch isn’t tickets to congratulations. Bad Bunny getting a “B” from me is something of a major bummer, but it isn’t a bad album at all and it was released in a FIVE DAY window to its position on the charts is excellent. Congratulations to Kenny and sure it was because Drake abdicated the # 1 position by not hoisting his mixtape to anything but a viral Tik Tok video (but a pretty big nothing) and Kenny insured it because tickets to his stadium tour were already on sale… still, that’s a big take down and the numbers have been disheartening for Drake…
