Comment: Earlier this year Dropkick Murphys covered Gerry Cinnamon’s “The Bonny” to strong effect and affection, Gerry is the latest, and probably the best, Celtic singer songwriter with an acoustic guitar and a brogue since, wow, since Ed Sheeran. I haven’t even like the ones I’ve liked since Ed’s “Divide” but if it is good enough for Dropkick Murphys, the Scots guy’s Irish-American cousins, I will buy in.
