Comment: Far be it for me to mock the hard of hearing, but if “Shallow” is what goes for a big badass ballad song in 2018, the end of taste is nigh. I actually just went to play it again in the off chance I underestimated it but no, it is quite possible that “tell me something girl, are you happy in this modern world?” is quite possibly the most irritating first line. And Bradley is one big emoting nitwit… This is art for people who don’t know the first thing about the word, it is tremendously naff, and, to mention just one name, Kodak Black’s slightest moment is better than these two self-important twerps best selling bleeps. Nothing kills music faster than self importance. And I think this goes to Lady Gaga’s entire problem. Her first three albums were such joyful art rockers, so sly and funny and pop arty Andy Warhol, to see what she has become is just sad.
