The Scandal Over Bieber’s Nirvana Shirt… Approved By Courtney Love

There are so many things to be angry at in this world, war, terrorism, injustice,… it goes on and on but some people got very angry over a tee-shirt? After breaking some kind of chart record with his new album, Justin Bieber made the news with the controversial Nirvana shirt he was wearing at the American Music Awards last weekend.

But people, who I bet are not real Nirvana fans, were up in arms, screaming their indignation, ‘how dares he!’… ‘This is so sacrilegious!’ among other insane comments, just read these tweets:

‘I just have to say… Justin Bieber in his Nirvana shirt probably has Kurt Cobain tossing in his grave’

‘Can justin bieber stop making Nirvana look like a fashion label rather than a band.’

‘Bieber wearing a Nirvana shirt makes me want to vomit’

‘Justin bieber wearing a nirvana shirt is the most offensive thing ive ever seen.’

It turns out that these people have never seen anything! As if wearing a shirt was controversial these days! But this story makes the news because Bieber is big again, and because Nirvana is very much fashionable again. Justin Bieber’s stylist has spoken to Esquire about the controversy

‘Actually, it’s not the first time he’s worn a Nirvana tee. We just have a nice collection of vintage tees, and then the tee he wore yesterday was actually Jerry Lorenzo’s from Fear of God. Jerry takes vintage tees and re-cuts them. But yeah, of course he’s a fan of Nirvana. I think it’s so funny that all these people are up in arms. I’m sure Kurt Cobain would be like—I mean I can’t speak for him, obviously—but I don’t think he was so snotty or that he would diss anyone who appreciated his music. I think he understood that that is like the antithesis of music appreciation. It’s so funny. But you know, fans are fans!’

But the most disturbing part of the story is probably Courtney Love jumping on the occasion, and tweeting her approval to the Bieb:

‘You’re cool in my book @justinbieber’…

Of course she is cool with the biggest pop star of the moment bringing her more money! Doesn’t she get something from this kind of merchandize? She will soon make her own version of the shirt and commercialize it to her avid fans. If you ever visit her Instagram page, you will see she is schmoozing with Hollywood’s youth, and hot people… So of course she approves, she probably thinks this makes her Selena Gomez.
