The Foo Fighters Do The Wrong Thing

Fuck the Foo Fighters. Yes, U2 cancelled a gig tonight in Paris, and Coldplay cancelled a gig tonight to be streamed on Tidal, but Foo Fighters cancelled a European tour with concerts in Italy and Spain.

These lily livered pussies should have their asses kicked. When the kids in Europe could use them more than ever, they bravely turned around and fled. I hate these guys on so many levels for this, they are a disgrace to rock and roll and they are a disgrace to the USA, and they are disgrace to themselves.

What sort of cowardice is this?

Do Foo Fighters really think Europe will come to a standstill over this, or, to be even more blunt, that Spain will have a curfew because of a terrorist attack in France?

And don’t say “who is to judge?” I am to judge and I am judging and I judge Dave Grohl to be repulsive for this terrible decision. Shame on him but not surprise on him.

I promise you, and I know, that if I was Grohl, I would have played Monday in Paris, but at least that I get. I see no reason to cancel the rest of France. What you do in the face of terrorism is go on as normal. But say, France, borders closed, mourning etc. But Spain and Italy?

Imagine what it would have meant to Paris if FF had played on Paris, imagine what a morale builder in the face of death and hatred to stand up and be counted. It would have been Grohl’s finest moment. As rock historian Bill Holdship put it: ” ISIS may soon be the only people Dave hasn’t jammed with.”

It is good for the youth of the world to know that when they needed their heroes most, they ran away. They should change their names to the Foo Chickenshits. PS they also suck.
