The First Ever Adult Swim Festival Is Happening In Los Angeles In Two Weeks

Fall may be already upon us, but Los Angeles is never done with festivals: the first ever Adult Swim Festival is coming to my city in 2 weeks and it promises a lot of fun. The 3-day festival will feature a mix of comedy and musical acts on two massive stages downtown Los Angeles, during an entire weekend.

The Adult Swim Festival will feature 42 musical and comedy performers, with headliners as diverse as Run the Jewels and Mastodon. The lineup also includes a long list of musical acts such as Big Freedia, Dorian Concept, Flying Lotus, Neko Case, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Hannibal Buress, T-Pain, Zola Jesus, Thundercat….

In addition to music and comedy, festival-attendees will get access to a massive marketplace with interactive gaming, exclusive merchandise, local food vendors, and they will be able to immerse themselves into the world of Adult Swim by taking a trip on the Dream Corp LLC Virtual Reality Eggs, playing a round of Rick and Morty Mini Golf, riding a giant Hot Dog Ride, soaking in the immersive Meatwad Dome 4D Experience and climbing on Smack Up My Uvula. People will also be able to get the unique Musical Ricksperience, as composer Ryan Elder will be bringing the songs from the Rick and Morty show to life for the first time, with the help of a fancy 37-piece orchestra.

The inaugural event starts on Friday, October 5th with Open Mike Eagle and T-Pain, and the festival continues for the entire weekend with a huge lineup (you can check it below). Go to Adult Swim Festival website to grab some tickets, weekend passes are $255 plus fees, single day passes are $85-99 plus fees, and preview night passes are $49 plus fees.
