The 2017 Fyre Festival Was A Complete Disaster, But 81% Of Festival-Goers Will Attend Its 2018 Edition

This trailer below, this stupid Club Med-like trailer, was enough to make people spend thousands of dollars in order to attend the new Fyre festival, a unique experience promising of a ‘first class’ event on a private island with yacht rides, gourmet meals, supermodels, and luxury villas… and eventually music, because it was called a festival after all.

Instead of all this, it was this decade’s disaster… poor rich trust fund babies they only had tents to sleep in, school buses for shuttles, and overall terrible conditions, their luggage were lost as there was no organization at all, and worst, no chargers for their phones! Apparently festival-goers were fed with bread and cheese and had only one thing in mind as soon as they got there: leaving. Here is an example of what can be found on the internet describing the experience:

‘With only unsecured tents as accommodations, rather than the promised villas, attendees had no secure area to store valuables and other personal items. Similarly, the ‘world-class cuisine’ was nowhere to be found, replaced by meager rations that were in dangerously short supply. Even more troublingly, festival staff were nowhere to be found to address attendees’ concerns, and the medical staff was similarly absent.’
‘Faced with the complete lack of even the most basic amenities, as well as no assistance from Defendants, festival attendees began to panic. Predictably, Attendees began attempting to leave the island en masse, but found themselves trapped—even locked inside an airport awaiting delayed flights.’

According to Boing Boing, the organizers Ja Rule, and Billy McFarland told celebrities and performers (and I still don’t know who was supposed to play there, beside a mention of Blink 82) not to attend the festival, as they realized in advance that the festival was underequipped and even dangerous.

Of course Organizers and their company, Fyre Media, have been hit, by a massive lawsuit of $100 million in a Federal Class Action lawsuit.

This is such an interesting story, because thousands of people went to a festival, which basically never existed, the whole story was just promoted to death on social media with the hashtag #FyreFestival endorsed by celebrities, like lame Kendall Jenner. Influencers like her were given free tickets to attend the festival, and to promote the event on their Instagram, but they obviously never came…

Look at all these kids, it was the worst experience of their life… but wait a minute, this story gets better and better as it unfolds: in an unexpected turn of event, co-founder Billy McFarland declared there will be a 2018 Fyre Festival despite this year disaster: ‘we’ll make sure there is infrastructure in place to support us,’ yeah right! Didn’t they already this? And he even offered to people VIP passes instead of refunds.

So, what do you think? People have massively accepted the offer!

Currently 81% of guests who have filled out the refund application have said they would like to attend Fyre Festival 2018,’ said the festival management to Rolling Stone. ‘We are so thankful for their support and excitement as we strive to make this right.’

81%? What a brainless herd! I hate to do some millennial bashing but this is the stupidest thing I have ever seen and really too good to be true.
