That Was The week That Was: May 26th, 2016

Death: The world stopped spinning on its axis for a day to celebrate the life of one of the greatest Americans of our times, Muhammed Ali. With the exception of Piers Morgan, the tributes were from everywhere by everyone across the globe for the lion hearted man.

Disastrous Weekend: One of our favorite weekends of the year were disrupted by weather forcing the cancellation of what would have been potentially the greatest Governors Ball day ever. Meanwhile, I used to go yo Summer Jam every year for fifteen year, but it got wilder and wilder and scarier and scarier. Last night’s performance began at 1230am… yes, you read that right.

Live: It is all about Beyonce this week, performing Tuesday and Wednesday, if the weather doesn’t destroy another outdoor performance.

Recorded: Congrats to Dierks Bentley who absolutely deserves his hit album, and to Drake who proved that just because I say so does not make it so.

More Live: Elle King was go good on Friday, she and Beck were the best things about the weekend. Boogie may be quite good in the long run…

Sports: Losers. you ask? Yanks, Mets and Cavs who are now down 0 – 2 to the Warriors.
