two weeks at the top is not yet enough to dub Dua a hit
I can’t read this stuff but I would have sworn Drake would know The Weeknd off!
Drake’s breathtaking 37th Top Ten single
Little movement and less listening
a mix of 70s stars greatest hits and modern pop stars
The top Weeknd songs ain’t dropped off the newbie yet…
On the singles charts it’s like Covid-19 never happened… except for families coming together to dance on Tik Tok
there has been no uptick in listening to music
the album charts are useless anyway
The Weeknd is just getting started on selling his album for parts
watching middle aged sons dance to “Blinding Light” with their sons is nothing if not one of the great gifts of social distancing
three of the top four are very well worth your while…
I love the Weeknd album
Not much movement here
they are searching out comfort songs
these are anthems of pop restructuring, they play like musical truisms nthd
sped it up and released it
a widening of his sound that never seems to be wide enough
both singles are killer
If The Weeknd cancels I will cry myself to sleep
two hits from his upcoming album although only one here
isn’t much difference between this chart and the US.
a better grade
No movement in the top five
hard juiced synth pop meets r&b
11th week at # 1 is one for the record books…
. Brenda Lee? Sorry, not sorry…
a much better top ten than last week’s disaster
when you work it, it improves.
Aldean… yeah, no.
Cardi’s brilliant debut is exactly where it is supposed to be.
The Weeknd only has six songs
the novelty rap song of your dreams…
old school break up EP
a potential smash
Echo Park Rising 2017 will take over my neighborhood
Fun pop not great art
hooky in a Daft Punk rule disco way.
Drake without rap and ego (much)
the brooding, druggy Abel and the best producers in the business
So special even Daft Punk can’t resist him
The Weeknd aint over
Abel is so really him, he will even do it at her tempo. SONG OF THE YEAR.
There are so many outlets, so many blogs, websites, magazines which need the attention in an over-saturated market, that necessarily anything, yes about anything, passes for news
Impressed? I will be if we get a Jonas Brothers reunion and since both Nick and Joe (with DNCE) are there, not entirely out of the question.
That’s pop music in 2015, we have singers being paid huge amounts of money to fill up Arenas and not knowing what to do with them once they’re filled.
This is a biggie… with a terrific album, one of the best and most successful of the year, to his name, and one of the best, if not the best, single of the year “The Hills”, and a live performance that was pretty darn good as early as last year, the Weeknd is a must see
