Iman adores her, but I find her to be a rather boring and calculating woman, while her songs are predictable and commercial,… but what do I know, she has been nominated for more than 470 awards and has won 231!

What’s going on there? Why suddenly so much young blood with old guys? True, Grohl is not that old, and Stamos not that young, but the duo Jagger-Swift singing about sex is rather disturbing. Is there an urgent need for septuagenarians to stay relevant for the young generation?

When he talked to Gay Star News two days ago, Sir Ian McKellen had this to say about the famous pop star when he was asked if he was part of Taylor Swift’s famous squad:
‘I’m not. When I was living in Peter Jackson’s apartment in New York, Taylor Swift bought it while I was there and I was thrown out before I wanted to leave! That hardly puts me in Taylor Swift’s team, does it? You look shocked.’

That is one of the more asinine comments in recent history, the truth is that $250 a shot, Avril should be ashamed she can’t even get within arms length of the poor girl and all Taylor did was like it. I am not an all Taylor all the time guy (at least not this year), but she is miles ahead of nearly everybody not the late great Davy Jones when it comes to the fanbase.

I love Grizzly Bear, I think he is an excellent musician and while we just got a coupla soundtrack albums it has been years since the excellent Shields album (three years actually) and we are due to hear more from him and soon. And I believe him.

Her Mom shared with me that she received a text from Richa explaining how Taylor said, “even though things are hard they will get better” and mentioned her Dad. It was a comforting moment for both. Of course, adults can see a light at the end of the tunnel but kids need more experience, growth to know things will improve and maybe they need to hear it from a super star to believe it.

What sort of fools do they take us for? Really, what a pathetic little maneuver. If this wasn’t a set up from beginning to end, what does the word set up actually mean? It is a wretched little business move by a rich, smart woman who lost any sense of moral balance. Or, again, that is my perception of the situation.

But this is beside the point, there’s more to the story, some people are becoming more and more suspicious that the whole deal was just a stunt, and that Swift was secretly cooperating with Apple from the beginning. Who are these people, some new conspiracy theorists? They are random faces on Twitter expressing doubt, but also Tom Conrad, Pandora’s co-founder, who tweeted a series of interesting sentences:

‘This contract is particularly egregious in that it not only contains an all out rights grab on the photographers’ work,’ said Goodman to Factmag, ‘whilst limiting their editorial control and ability to earn from that work — and does so without compensation — but because it does so under threat of criminal damage or destruction of property.’

Taylor hardly needs me to warn her that just because YOU CAN do something does not mean YOU SHOULD do something. Between Taylor and Apple, who cares anymore? It is just big corporations battling each other and nothing to do with me.

‘How are you any different to Apple? If you don’t like being exploited, that’s great.. make a huge statement about it, and you’ll have my support. But how about making sure you’re not guilty of the very same tactic before you have a pop at someone else?’ writes Sheldon. ‘Photographers need to earn a living as well. Like Apple, you can afford to pay for photographs so please stop forcing us to hand them over to you while you prevent us from publishing them more than once, ever.’
