A beacon of light, a signal fire or heliograph appearing in the darkest of times, SohoJohnny arose from the proverbial ashes to inspire, encourage, and help human-kind. The founder of the “Let Me Help” Foundation, SohoJohnny is on a mission striving to help those people whose lives and livelihoods have been shattered by COVID-19 by raising funds through the celebration of music, laughter and dance.

Rising above the noise of our current social climate, SohoJohnny has endured his own personal losses during this pandemic including his 93 year old mother’s passing from the virus, and the devastation of businesses and projects close to his heart. Yet he chooses to continue in his quest to spread what he calls a mandate for humanity.  A soul entrenched in the design of kindness and a modern-day voice of reason, SohoJohnny treks forward looking up towards the sky while he prepares to produce events in the name of philanthropy….

I spoke with SohoJohnny regarding his advice, philosophies and visions. His answers were direct and simple but full of meaning and wisdom. …

World meet a modern day superhero…..SohoJohnny ….

You are about to present a huge 6 hour virtual benefit concert in November 24 2020 on behalf of the “Let Me Help Inc” foundation in conjunction with #IAMNOJOKE , what will this benefit and what do you hope to accomplish?

“Let Me Help Inc” is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The concert will be benefits those shattered by COVID through the efforts of Meals On Wheels. We hope to raise funds and bring awareness to those suffering from Prostate cancer as well. Lastly through the efforts of #IAMNOJOKE via “Creative Visions” we intend to raise awareness towards the horrors and sadness of bullying and those affected.

I understand you are set to have some of the biggest icons in Hollywood and the music world, give us a sneak preview?

We are joyfully set to welcome artists including: Sir Patrick Stewart, Jeff Goldblum, Slash, Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp); Scott Page (Pink Floyd), Kenny Lee Lewis (The Steve Miller Band); Rick Wakeman (Yes), John Lodge (Moody Blues), Fred Schneider ( B-52‘s), CeCe Peniston, The Immediate Family with Leland Sklar, famed publicist Howard Bloom, NY TV host Mickey Burns of Profiles, Ten Years After, Sha Na Na, Cedric the Entertainer, Jane Lynch, Andrew Cole, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Stephen Perkins ( Jane’s Addiction), Kim Sledge, legendary guitarist Kenny Olson, Norwood Fisher (Fishbone), Juliana, Rocky Kramer, and about 60 more performances and appearances.

When it comes to musical artists you have a very cool and sensitive point of view…

Many artists show their inner beauty through the Divine creation of heartfelt music connections. However, it takes their vulnerable empathy to have that quality emanating nakedly from their souls. Point is they feel the pain of the world and they had turned inside out to show us their humanity. It’s based on love and dependency.

You have a way of turning lemons into lemonade. What do you feel the best distractions are for people during these crazy times when even the smallest problems are magnified?

Volunteer to help in anyway. Help focus on someone less fortunate. Be aware of how full your life is and how your life has value and is loaded with capabilities.

What are some of your most precious values and why?

Every night will proceed and dawn. If one cares about you, you are fortunate. You are the richest if you were truly loved.
