Comment: Of all the 1977 punk rock bands outta the UK, the Stranglers were the worst but the Damned were close to the worst, except for “Neat Neat Neat” and “New Rose,” what is there? Josh Rouse? Except for “Dressed Up Like Nebraska” what else is there? Oh, yeah when I saw him open with Aimee Mann back when Aimee was a genius, he was hungover and very funny. I don’t expect a damn thing from either. Onward, we haven’t heard much from Tinashe since 2016 so who knows? Harry Shearer (Mr. Burns among others) is back in Derek Smalls mode for this Spinal Tap solo album… luckily it isn’t part of his jazz period. Brazilian Girls, Jason ALdean, Jason DeRulo… not much of a week. Nels Cline? Ugh…  Remember back when Juliana Hatfield was losing her virginity to Evan Dando? I love Olivia Newton John as much as anyone (here) but i wonder about this one. Obviously,  the new John Prine is the most anticipated album of the week.
