Comment: Already now, from the top, Brad Paisley hasn’t released a good album this decade, Overcoats are an emotional mess duo in a good way, I didn’t much like the Imelda May song I heard, Procol Harum are back?, Robyn Hitchcock isn’t my scene  but you might like him, Sheryl Crow has written one song I’ve liked in her entire career, “If It Makes You Happy”,  and Texas are a terrific band featuring my buddy the great Johnny McElhone. But any week with Ray Davies in the mix is a week he takes the honor for most anticipated. The Jayhawks are playing back up and the first three singles are all goodies, “The Great Highway” is a pretty good “Wild Thing” knock off and needless to add wins the prize.
