Comment: The dog days of summer seem to be coming to an end with this heavy load of new releases. As for most anticipated, I am not crazy about A$AP Mob, what I want is a new Rocky album, so no not that excited. I’m not a big Gogol Bordello fan, nor Fifth Harmony (though their new single is a goodie)… nah, it boils down to three rock bands and the King Of Soundcloud Rap. That Studio At Webster Hall gig put me so far off the entire scene that I am not as excited for XXXtentacion as I was even last on June. Of the three rock bands. Iron & Wine can be very very pretentious and boring and this one is a tour read, The War On Drugs? Their major label debut has a boatload of singles already released (plus a terrific Warren Zevon cover on Spotify). I’ve already heard the QOTSA album and I love it but… I am going with xxxtentacion, if it isn’t the best at the very least it’s the most important.
