Comment: a little on the skimpy side for The least anticipated album is simple enough, Nickelback are a horror band, not sure if they’ve ever eaten little children or mugged the elderly for their pensions, but once you’ve said that you’ve said everything. So onwards to Most Anticipated: The Secret Sisters are the highly acceptable face of Americana, though they can get a little blah. Sufjan and Bryce are talented fellows, London Grammar are sufferable often enough, Katy Perry’s alright though the new songs aren’t, but the most anticipated boils down to Big Thief or Glenn Campbell. The new Big Thief single, “Mary,” is glorious and would catapult them straight to the top except it is Glen Campbell’s swan song and both singles are perfect in big book. I am going with Glenn for most anticipated. See ya lata, Glen!
