Comment: It is endlessly interesting how people stop being cool. Conor Oberst was the epitome of cool for years and years, and then he botched his second solo album and formed a terrible supergroup and he has never come all the way back. Rufus Wainwright was the poster boy for cool, gifted and gay and then he wrote a crappy opera and that was that. What I’ve heard of the Shakespeare album has been at the very least interesting but not even slightly cool. But it wouldn’t have mattered if it was great because everything I’ve heard off the upcoming A$AP Ferg album has been terrific and it is the MOST ANTICIPATED OF THE WEEK.
