Saturday Night’s Better Than Alright

Earlier this week I wrote a prediction of grades for the long day and night in Manhattan

Here we go…

I wrote Bad Cinderella – This is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s on the great fairy tale, and the songs I’ve heard have been alright MOR ALW fashion but nothing great. Even so, ALW with a new Broadway musical is an event – Grade: B-” it was much better than I thought it would be (full review sometime next week). Grade: B+

I wrote: “Movies: I have been searching for the Winnie The Pooh horror movie (“Blood And Honey”) but apparently it was a special event screening back on the 15th and I missed it. So whatever I finally decide to see will not be due to the movie but the timing, I figure I will be stuck with the new Ant Man – C” – I was lead astray by the outstandingly negative reviews (it got a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes), it was a fun ride and while I may pass on a review I would still recommend it

I wrote: SZA: “I’ve been waiting for this for years (the last time I saw her was nearly exactly five years ago, her new (ish) album SOS has been at the top of the Billboard 200 for record breaking weeks on end and if your taste goes toward pop stars at a height this is unmissable. I missed Omar Apollo, but caught up and am impressed with the opening act – B+” I got this one on the button my review here) Grade: B+
