rock nyc Top 10 Songs 6-24-16 – 6-30-16

5093715

1 – Drug Dealers Anonymous – Pusha T, Jay Z

2 – Plunder – The Felice Brothers

3 – Drive Anywhere – Lisa Prank

4 – Talk To Me – Kandace Spring

5 – FDT – YG, Nipsey Hussle

6 – Come Down – Anderson Paak

7 – Celebration – Anderson Paak

8 – My Bodies Made Of Crushed Little Stars – Mitski

9 – Wona – Mumford And Sons, Baaba Maal

10 – Wow – Beck

Comment: As must be obvious from the chart, this isn’t much of a week at all. After seeing Anderson Paak, I backtracked to Anderson after seeing him live again, and with a new month on the horizon, threw in a coupla best songs of the year. In June, only Mitski and Mumford joined the fray of best of the best. That Jay Z verse is excellent.
