rock nyc Gets In The Aggregating News Business
If you are a regular reader, you may have notice we have re-posted several music stories from other sources today, we clearly state we are reposting, who the writer is, and a link to the origonal story. Also, we have the name of the writer as Administrator so nobody appears to be taking credit.
Why? Three reasons:
1 – Alyson and I write constantly, I wrote something like 16 hours over the weekend, but we need more stories to increase readership, and this is the only idea I could come up with.
2 – Everybody always does it, I just cut out the rock nyc opinion and post all of the story.
3 – The news you pick reflects your opinion of the music.
4 – It buys me the opportunity to skip an occasional post if I run out of time, something I never ever do.
5 – We have been doing rock nyc for seven years next week… Really, if more of you would read the bloody thing… or write for free or both.
Really, I wouldn’t have had the LCD story last week so, if we see rock nyc as a vision of modern pop in 2016, and since I have ZERO resources, perhaps it makes sense to do it this way as well.
