Zeus News Discovers Psychic Joan Carra Is Accuser In Bob Dylan Lawsuit

Joan Carra
Joan Carra claims to be the mystery girl on this picture

It was expected, the abuse allegations against Bob Dylan were investigated and the results should rejoice all his fans. According to Zeus News, a website that was probably created for this sole purpose, Bob Dylan’s accuser is a fraud. First, they have revealed her real identity: her name is Joan Carra whereas she was simply identified as ‘J.C., an adult female who currently resides in Greenwich Connecticut’ in the lawsuit.  They have also posted an audio recording of a phone conversation with her, discussing the allegations.

Unsurprisingly, Joan is a con artist as she has been a psychic for 20 years, owning a website and social media, and I don’t care how many references she has had, medium and psychics are just charlatans.

She said her psychic abilities came after an ‘alleged unspecified emotional trauma changed her life course.’ Ten days ago, she accused Bob Dylan of the worst crimes, claiming she was drugged, forced alcohol, and sexually abused by the famous singer-songwriter at NYC’s Chelsea Hotel in April-May 1965. She also claimed that Dylan’s abuse left her emotionally scarred and psychologically damaged to this day.

What proofs do they provide besides matching initials? Joan Carra was born in 1953, which would make her exactly 12 in 1965, she lives in Greenwich Connecticut, and she has tried to be recognized as a Dylan groupie since 2010: She sent emails to ‘SearchingForAGem’ to be recognized as the mysterious young girl whispering in Bob’s ear on the photo above. On ‘SearchingForAGem’ you can read indeed:

‘In July 2013 I received two email messages from Joan Carra claiming she is the girl with the headband, which may be true as there’s been no confirmation yet that the girl is indeed Carole Adler.’

The photo is in black and white, but the young girl looks Black to me, or am I wrong?

In the phone conversation, Carra mentions her allegations against Dylan, but stays very vague:

‘Yeah but you know I can’t say anything about it, you know, they’re crazy drug addicts. A lot of musicians, and you know, anything’s possible, right? You know? Just so you know, you have to look up, he was very close friends with Allen Ginsberg who was a known serial child molester. He was in Nambla, he was in a documentary about “National American Man Boy Love Association”, so, you have to look at that because Dylan and Ginsberg were very close. So anything could happen, and when you’re drugged out, you could do crazy things, right? In those days Elvis had 13-year-olds… and there’s even a website of all the rock stars who had young girlfriends.’

Should I say more? They are all drug addicts and he knew Ginsberg? Is this her evidence?

But she continues: ‘I’m not, this isn’t, this reading isn’t for this okay? I have to deal with what I’ve got to deal with. I don’t like to be a celebrity paparazzi you know? Because it’s not my place to look at people who aren’t asking me to read. And you know what? I’m not even thinking, I’ve got other things I’ve got to deal with, and you know, people have to deal with it, and if he was guilty then people have to realise, uh, that, you know, people go through a lot of pain. And maybe he had his own pain and demons and uh, the person did, you know, so we just have to respect that um, we learn from these things.’

‘We’re in a culture now that people can finally speak up, look at R Kelly and stuff. Michael Jackson, if you read the psychologist’s, and the maid, and even Marlon Brando’s interview, about Michael Jackson, they all said ‘there were crazy things going on with those young boys’. They found underwear, Marlon Brando had a talk with him. Yes people are great artists. It doesn’t mean they have mental illness and these things. People have been abused and we weren’t allowed to speak and it caused a lot of pain. And yes they are legends and we’re not saying they’re not brilliant people, but, uh, you know, there’s things that happen.’

She continued: ‘And you know what, I’m a person where, we have to look at compassion and forgiveness, but forgiveness doesn’t mean to condone so you’ve got to look at stuff like that, you know? I’m talking about Michael Jackson had, er, Marlon Brando’s interview with Michael Jackson, where Michael Jackson said he did it, I read that. Everybody read that. And we have to look at the Taliban, what’s going to happen with the poor women there. So, you know, we have to learn there’s, uh, no pill, you know, so we just got to learn as a society, these things, we have to study it where we don’t know what to do, you know, how do you stop it, I don’t know, the priests, it’s all big stuff.’

Whether Michael Jackson was a child molester or not is completely irrelevant to her case, and her story has obviously nothing to do with the Taliban, her rant is senseless.

She added: ‘And you know what, that didn’t even go to trial yet, or court, or deposition, so what are you going to do? We can’t, you just read the lawyer’s statement, that’s all we can say.’

So can we safely say she is either a complete fraud looking for cashing money (she also mentions having troubles with the IRS) or a very deranged person or both?

We already know that Dylan’s busy schedule (a West Coast tour in April 1965, a trip to the UK on April 26th and May, and the filming of a documentary) between April and May 1965 was not compatible with the dates of her alleged six weeks of false imprisonment, abuse, drugs, alcohol, but these new elements add another not-at-all-credible layer to the accusations. She has zero evidence to present. A B&W photo where nobody can tell for sure if she is the girl with Dylan? A claim that all rockstars are child molesters? This is going nowhere.

As for the lawyers involved in the case, Peter Gleason and Daniel Isaacs, they are also interesting characters: Gleason had some communications with Michael Cohen, the longtime legal adviser to former US President Donald Trump and The Trump Organisation, and has been involved with some shady cases, to say the least: he represented Anna Gristina, the so-called Soccer Mom Madam, who was accused of employing underage girls to work in a brothel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side… among other bizarre tabloid cases. On the other hand, Daniel W Isaacs, is the former director of the New York City Republican Party and is in a dire financial situation: you can read the details on ZeusNews, and on this other blog that gives more details.

If you think that the source (Zeus News) is sketchy, the website seems to have been created a few days ago, and it’s very possible that a very suspicious and die-hard Dylan fan was pissed off by the allegations and decided to do his own investigation. In any case, the site is linking to a real person, psychic Joan Carra, with the same initials that the plaintiff, living in Greenwich Connecticut, who was 12 in 1965 and has claimed to have been around Dylan at the time, according to ‘SearchingForAGem.’ How many other J.C. with all these characteristics are there?

To me, this is another step proving that the lawsuit is probably bogus. So much for the people who are constantly preaching ‘believe the victims’ without even having a second look at the evidence.

This is nonsense. Joan Carra seems to be commenting on her opinion of the Dylan case. Nowhere does she say she is the accuser. She does not speak of her personal experience of sex abuse nor does she speak of knowing Dylan. It is clear she is talking about him as a public figure who could potentially have been involved in the crime he has been accused of.

Not so sure. Key points, sorry for length [of what is an ‘interview’ that is sneaked into a ‘psychic reading’, she didn’t see that one coming…’]:

‘In Greenwich [etc. …Dylan accusation], I thought you mentioned you were involved?’
JC – Yeah but I can’t say anything about it’.

So she claims involvement, albeit unspecified, but not just ‘an opinion’ on the case – I think you missed that.

In answer to the question ‘How do you know it was Dylan’ she says ‘I’m not going to answer that’. We all know that Dylan’s been accused. So what could this mean? She’s claiming she knows that Dylan committed an assault. So she’s either claiming to know the victim and believe them, or she is the accuser.

The clincher seems to be the end, when after talking about the Taliban abusing women and what I assume is the RC Church abusing children, the ‘interviewer’ says ‘As in your case?’ to which the answer is:

‘And you know what, that didn’t even get to trial yet, or court, or deposition, so what are you going to do? We can’t, you just read the lawyer’s statement, that’s all we can say.’

Either she’s a/ expecting litigation over over her IRS problems, and is comparing this to the Taliban’s treatment of women and abuser priests, or b/ she’s got an abuse case coming up that is separate to Dylan’s [but then what lawyer’s statement is she talking about?] or c/ she didn’t hear/process the ‘your case’ phrase [but what is she talking about, then] or d/ she is the accuser. On balance I’d say it was d, but it’s not 100% – she could be being incoherent.

It is odd that she seems so chill about the case – maybe her superpower is that she’s so out there that it’s like water off a duck’s back

She’s had ample time to come out and say if it’s not her, it is. And if she is in fact Dylan’s accuser then it seems quite relevant that his accuser is a professional con artist (charges $250/hr to give you ‘messages’ from your beloved deceased), claims she can read the future (predicted Hurricane Sandy flooding NYC… a claim that falls apart under the slightest scrutiny), has contacted aliens (2013 book), can talk to animals (not making that up), etc.

The mystery woman in the photo appears to be black. Joan Carra does not appear to be black

If this story is true, it’s just more proof that the accusations against Dylan is bogus and he and his lawyers should go after her lawyers for taking advantage of an individual who obviously has mental issues. Dylan doesn’t deserve this and this is just going to make him hate the media more.

oh it’s true. Joan Carra is the woman accusing Dylan, Zeus News communicated with her and even published one of her emails

  5. […] few days later, the Zeus News Now team revealed the accuser’s identity and her profession, together with the stature of the plaintiff’s attorneys. How did the press behave, then? Did the […]

Totally spurious accusation. If anyone has the ability to analyse and examine Dylan’s mind via his lyrics it is clear how his mind is endlessly roving in a dialectical fashion – trying to make meaning of our world. Woman is a raging nutcase or trying to be very cute – yep probably her idiot lawyers trying to roll themselves out of bankruptcy. Nevertheless it is very annoying and Dylan’s lawyers should definitely go for it – and make him lose even more money! Sob!!!
