Prince Pulls Out of Europe Gigs

spotlight

Due to the tragic events in Paris, the tour promoter has decided to postpone the upcoming European tour until further notice. Check back for updates on when the dates will be rearranged to. ”

The tour promoter?

It is amazing how the people you’d expect to be gutless assholes are indeed gutless assholes.

Prince makes me wanna puke, what possible reason is there to cancel a European tour in the wake of the attack on Paris? The senseless, fear mongering that would make an artist of the caliber of Prince give a Dave Grohl impression, if not indeed worse than Grohl.  boggles the mind. If you miss Foo Fighters you’ve dodged a bullet, people actually want to see Prince. Paris has supported him forever.

An entertainer has one ironclad responsibility and that is to entertain people and it is never more important than when things are at their worst and NOTHING IS at its worse in Europe. there is NOTHING TO BE SCARED OF.

How cowardly, selfish and stupid can these guys be? What earthly excuse is there for Prince to cancel a European tour. Cancelling Paris is bad but OK, but the rest of Europe?

What is it with these guys? I don’t understand it, I can’t fathom where their sense of responsibility and dignity is. I don’t see how they can refuse to do so, their fans need them to show solidarity, not to run and hide.

But honestly, for all of Prince’s many gifts as a musicians, his sense of victimization has always been over baked, he always seemed selfish and now he seems selfish and a coward. One of the truly dislikable artists in the world shows his true colors yet again.

This is repulsive.
