To our valued fans:
What a day! Earlier, we announced that Pandora will be acquiring Ticketfly to create the world’s most powerful live events and music discovery platform.
We are incredibly excited about all the ways that this will help make live event experiences even better for you. Together, we will tackle the longstanding problem of event discovery and harness our combined data to help you find out about more great events. For now, you can continue to purchase tickets on Ticketfly.
We’re fired up to be joining forces with Pandora, a company that shares our passion for making live entertainment a bigger part of people’s lives.
Thanks for all of your continued support.
Cheers!
Andrew Dreskin, co-founder & CEO
Ticketfly
Well, I have nothing against Ticketfly, they sell tickets on line and take less money than Ticketmaster thouse I don’t think I’d call myself a fan and I don’t see why Pandora bought them, I mean, over and above adding a radio station to every ticket sold, what do they plan to do with it.
However, ever the bridesmaid Pandora have finally made a move and have made Andrew Dreskin $450 Million dollars richer, it seems to me to be the definition of a non event. Ticketfly have never come close to rivaling Ticketmaster and unless they get some major players to spend the night with em, they never will.
