On The Red Carpet For The Screening Of “The Beast Inside” At The Angelica Cinema, Sunday, January 29th, 2023: pictures by Billy Hess

I sent Sunday, January 29th at the Angelica on East 12th street and 2nd Avenue for the invite only, red carpet gala for See You On Tuesday Films production of the maternal horror movie “The Beast Inside” starring Sadie Katz, Vernon Wells and Lauren Landen and directed by genre master Jim Towns.

One of the producers, and cultural harbinger for 2023, SohoJohnny Pasquale presented a screening of “The Beast Inside” with a veritable who’s who of the horror genre and celebrities. The place was humming with stars like Miles Schon (the Journey guy’s son) and guitarist Mike Shapiro of “Reckless In Vegas” fame and their band Many Miles Away, model Griffin Stone Katz, and TV personality Mickey Burns. Plus a star of the Godfather (the first one) by a guy who had to answer for Sonny.

But everybody made an appearance on the red carpet eventually, before a screening of the wonderful motion picture with a powerhouse performance by Sadie Katz and SohoJohnny as you never thought you’d see him.
