Mainfest At Alhambra, Saturday September 10th 2016

Saturday, the city of Alhambra was hosting its first Mainfest, yes, another music festival in Southern California, but this time this was giving the chance to a small town to shine. Who had ever heard of Alhambra before? Actually you should, Phil Spector lived there and probably shot actress Lana Clarkson in his home in 2003! I know, there is no bad publicity, but enough negativity, Alhambra launched Mainfest to celebrate its expanding downtown business area, and it was a celebration through art and music with too many bands to count, playing a large outdoor stage and several indoor ones, inside bars and restaurants along Main street.

If the crowd was a little thin at the beginning of the afternoon, it was a full house later and a giant dance floor in front of the main stage… And dance floor is actually a term I could use many times to describe the general feeling of Mainfest. Here are a few highlights in pictures.
