Live Through This: rock nyc Top Concert Picks For The Week Of June 17th, 2019

one of these people are not having a good time

The two biggest stars of the year, Billie Eilish, the teenage neo-pop teenage, and Ariana Grande, the 20 something game changer, sex in the age of texter, are performing in town. Ariana is at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Billie is at Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday. The last time I saw Ariana I didn’t like her (and the time before that and the time before that) BUT she didn’t have Sweetener then. I’ve never seen Billie and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Conclusion? Any serious student of modern pop must see both.
