“I Took A Pill In Ibiza” brought Mike Posner, all the way back to the top with a song I’ve raved about by for knocking on a month. And while I have nothing against the Seeb Remix, it sure works on the dancefloor, it should have been a hit anyway. Posner deserves the return to the charts. So catch him at the Marlin Room on Tuesday… but he better not act like a dick anymore.
Tuesday – Billy Joel – I haven’t seen him in a year, so I am more than considering taking another look at the Piano Man. And it can’t go on forever though it appears to just keep on going.
Wednesday, Thursday – Megadeth – Terminal 5 – With Suicidal Tendencies opening, everyone knows this should be at The Theatre At MSG.
Thursday – Murphy’s Law – The Grand Victory – Yup, a great venue and a great day for the Murphy’s of the world.
Friday – Experience Hendrix – King’s Theatre – Billy Cox, Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and more paying their respect.
Saturday – The Who – Prudential – They were real good last week… I hope it isn’t the last time ever, they became a lot of fun. The thing with Quadrophenia is it was too damn heavy and while the last hour goes on a little now, the first hour has so many songs you want to hear.
