‘New Me, Same Us’ Out NOW via Ninja Tune
Watch ‘COLORS’ Session of “Another Lover” HERE
Today, Little Dragon is thrilled to release their amazing new album, New Me, Same Us, out on Ninja Tune. The album was entirely self-produced and recorded at the pioneering Swedish band’s long-term home-built studio in Gothenburg—the city where they formed at school and have played together ever since. New Me, Same Us is the sound of a band going back to basics and falling back in love with their instruments — drums, bass, keyboards, harp, guitar and voice — to produce some of their most focused and best music to date. Listen to New Me, Same Us HERE.
In celebration of the album’s release, the band performed for fans via a YouTube live concert from their studio in Gothenburg, highlighting the new album’s phenomenal songs and some Little Dragon classics. The set was followed by a live Q&A.
Additionally, Little Dragon has debuted an incredible live rendition of their new song “Another Lover” via acclaimed site COLORS.

Fronted by the enigmatic and beloved Yukimi Nagano, with multi-instrumentalists Håkan Wirenstarnd and Fredrik Wallin on keyboards and bass respectively, and Erik Bodin—when he’s not training to be a champion speed skater—on drums and percussion, Little Dragon are a band with a rich history. They got their start living together in a communal squat-come-recording studio in central Gothenburg in their teens—selling strawberries and driving trucks to make ends meet—and have since rocketed to international acclaim, sustaining a global, decade-spanning touring career which has seen them perform at some of the world’s most revered festivals.
The band also continues a long history of working with some of the best creatives in the worlds of art and design, including hotly-tipped photographer Mous Lamrabat who took the album press shots and David Uzochukwu (Dior, FKA Twigs, Pharrell, Nike) who has produced a limited edition photobook which will accompany the release.
Little Dragon’s hugely popular and highly regarded live performances have spawned a decade-spanning touring career. Their previously announced April and May North American tour dates have been postponed and will be rescheduled; new dates will be announced imminently for later this year. Hang on to your tickets!
