“The wonderfully weird pop duo we need right now.”- Pitchfork
“Let’s Eat Grandma crystallizes the high of newfound infatuation into a three-minute pop gem.” – NPR Music
“It’s a textbook example of the moment when a newish artist goes beyond ‘promising’ and into the zone of ‘just straight-up good.” – Stereogum
“Their older stuff was great, but, IMO, this stuff is exceptional.”- Noisey
“Disgust with the status quo never felt so right for the dance floor.”-Refinery 29
Let’s Eat Grandma have picked up the award for Best Album at the Q Awards in London for their exhilarating, critically acclaimed second album, I’m All Ears, which is out now via Transgressive Records. This follows their nominations in three categories at the AIM Independent Music Awards, where they collected the award for Best Sophomore Release.
The band today also shares a remix of “Falling Into Me” by patten. The London-based project patten (returned to solo mid-2018) is renowned for hi-tech immersive AV shows and a multi-platform approach, tracing a boundary-irreverent path through outlets ranging from design as 555-5555, to installation, film, software programming, music, live performance, and publishing. Listen to it HERE.
Following a North American headline tour as well as their biggest London headline show to date at Heaven (where The Line Of Best Fit described the band as “one of the UK’s hottest acts” and “a powerful and playful force to be reckoned with”), Let’s Eat Grandma are about to embark on a European tour as special guests of Chvrches. They will join the band on the road again in early 2019 on their UK tour which includes a London show at Alexandra Palace on February 7th, 2019. All live dates are listed below.
I’m All Ears is alive with furious pop, unapologetic grandeur and intimate ballads; with loops, Logic, outrageous 80s drum solos, as well as production from David Wrench, SOPHIE and Faris Badwan. The second act from the British teenage vocalists, multi-instrumentalists and songwriters Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth has been met with universal acclaim.
