If life had gone in a different direction, Bruce could be playing BB Kings and Southside Johnny could be at MSG, but those are the breaks in life and the man who came out of the same scene as Bruce, while always a one man party, never reached the superduper stratospheres of his buddy. So instead we get to see the one man (plus the Asbury Jukes of course) soul party in the intimate surroundings of BB Kings on Saturday night.
Monday – Devon Allman Band – SOBS – The son. always sounded great when I’ve seen him with pops.
Thursday – Billy Joel – In Concert – Madison Square Garden – And on to year three of the residence that never ends.
Friday – Creole Grooves featuring Harmonik – SOBS – These guys are smoother than you can possibly imagine
Saturday – The Weeklings – Daryl’s House – Top notch power pop band with one of 2015’s best albums to their credit.
