Thanksgiving week means fewer shows than usual, but there are still a few excellent ones.

On Monday 20th, LCD Soundsystem continue their series of shows at the Hollywood Palladium, one more to go! The Myrrors, Vinyl Williams & Drinking Flowers are at the Moroccan Lounge, Rich Chigga is at the Fonda Theatre with with Duckwrth and Don Krez, Maximo Park are at the Teragram Ballroom with Gothic Tropic, Dead Meadow is at the Echoplex with Pink Mountaintops, Dallas Acid, Barns Courtney is at the Troubadour with Craig Stickland. As for the residencies and free shows, It’s A School Night! has Wayfarers, Boy Epic, Stalgia Zoology at Bardot, Superet is at The Echo with Clara-Nova, Green Gerry, Keli Price is at the Satellite with Paradise Vultures, Ever So Android, PHEVR, Los Angeles Police Department is at the Bootleg Bar with NO WIN, Wished Bone, Will Fox, GOSPELBEACH is at Zebulon with RADERSON, Dream Phases, SOS Sons of the Southwest

On Tuesday 21st, LCD Soundsystem conclude their 5-show series at the Hollywood Palladium, Mogwai is at the Belasco Theater, Rich Chigga is at the Fonda Theatre with Duckwrth and Don Krez, Julia Jacklin is at the Echo with Faye Webster, Our Lady Peace is at the El Rey Theatre with SMSHING HRTS, Cosmonauts is at the Echoplex with Adult Books, Rips, The Mad Walls, Korey Dane and Special Guest Zella Day are at the Moroccan Lounge with Calvin Love, and the Hi Hat has a free show with Sur, Lonely Beast, The Thens.

On Wednesday 22nd, X celebrate a 40-year anniversary with Dave Alvin and the Guilty Ones, Alejandro Escovedo and Mike Watt at the The Novo By Microsoft , GWAR is at the Fonda Theatre with Ghoul, He Is Legend & U.S. Bastards, Snow Tha Product is at the El Rey Theatre with Castro Escobar & AJ Hernz, Jessica Andrea is at the Roxy with John Lindahl.

Thursday 23rd, Thanksgiving day, nothing much is going on.

On Friday 24th, Guns N’ Roses are at the Staples Center, Jerry Lee Lewis is at the Theatre At Ace Hotel with special guest Colter Wall, RL Grime is at the Shrine Expo Hall with Graves & Kittens, Princess Nokia is at the El Rey Theatre with Suzi Analogue, Animals As Leaders are at the Wiltern, Baths is at the Zebulon with D33J, MitiS is at the Roxy with PRXZM, The Expanders are at the Teragram Ballroom with Dubbest, Iya Terra, and Jesse Rutherford and friends are at the Echo.

On Saturday 25th, Guns N’ Roses are at the Forum, Silversun Pickups are at The Theatre At Ace Hotel (it’s a benefit for Puerto Rico), RL Grime is at the Shrine Expo Hall with Graves & Kittens, Young Creatures has a record release show at the Hi Hat with Dream Phases and Livingmore, Kishi Bashi is at the Troubadour with Tall Tall Trees, The Aquadolls are at the Echo with THE TISSUES, New Evil, Sabrina is Not in This Chat.

On Sunday 26th, it’s Prettiest Eyes Record Release Party at the Echo with Sister Mantos, Hooveriii, and Weyes Blood is at Zebulon for a sold out show with Mary Lattimore.
