It’s LCD Soundsystem weekend in Los Angeles, with the first concerts of a series of 5 nights at the Palladium from November 17th to 21st!

On Monday 13th, The Breeders are at the El Rey Theatre with Melkbelly, The Broken Crowns Tour Featuring Matisyahu, Common Kings & Orphan at the Wiltern, The Sounds are at the Fonda Theatre with Fitness and GGOOLLDD, Dream Wife is at the Echoplex with Pompeya, Dr. Doctor, Night Beats are at The Regent Theater with Meatbodies and The Paranoyds, The Jerry Douglas Band is at The Troubadour

But it’s Monday night residency, and we have Superet at the Echo with Collapsing Scenery and Ruby Trademark, Los Angeles Police Department at the Bootleg Bar with Justus Proffit, Raener, Eric Slick, GospelbeacH are at Zebulon with The Mastersons, Charlie Overbey And The Broken Arrows, Paul Chesne, while It’s A School Night! has Blackpaw, Yellow Days and Absofacto at Bardot, and Snowball ii is at The Satellite with Heptagon, The Neuroses, Outside Animals. And there is a special all-women night at the Hotel Cafe, with Doll Parts – A Night Of Songs & Stories By Female Artists with Annie Hardy of Giant Drag, Vanessa Silberman, WASI, Sarah Green of Spare Parts For Broken Hearts, Devin Davis of Ramonda Hammer, Mónica Mendoza of Le Ra & Strange Phases, Carissa Johnson (Boston) and Tarah G. Carpenter of Tarah Who?

On Tuesday 14th, Liam Gallagher is at the Wiltern, The Clientele is at the Teragram Ballroom with EZTV, Yasmine Handan is at the El Rey Theatre, Phoebe Ryan is at the Echoplex with Morgxn and Molly Kate Kestner, Slaughter Beach, Dog, and Shannen Moser are at the Echo, Sheppard are at The Roxy with Hailey Knox and Dylan Gardner and Gøggs are at Zebulon with Sextile, and Boy Epic is at The Peppermint Club. At The GRAMMY Museum, there is a special evening with legendary Wanda Jackson!

On Wednesday 15th, Death From Above are at The Novo By Microsoft with the Beaches, Vintage Trouble is at the Wiltern, Jacob Collier is at the El Rey Theatre, Yasmin Levy is at The Theatre At Ace Hotel, Citizen is at the Regent with Sorority Noise, Great Grandpa, Cold Specks is at the Echo with La Timpa, Radiator Hospital is at the Bootleg with Upset and NO WIN, Burning Palms is at Harvard And Stone, and Acetone has a sold out show at Zebulon with special guest Hope Sandoval and Secret Circuit. And there is also a Jeff Buckley Tribute Night at The Hotel Cafe, Chad VanGaalen is at the Satellite with NE-HI, I Hate You Just Kidding.

On Thursday 16th, Elbow is at the Wiltern, Gary Numan has two nights at the Teragram Ballroom with Me Not You, and this one is sold out, Gavin Turek is at the Roxy, Tennis is at the Fonda Theatre with Wild Ones. Metronomy has two shows at The Regent Theater, one at 6:00pm, and one later at 9 pm with Egyptian Lover (but already sold out). Diarrhea Planet is at the Echo with Easy, The Primals, Daley is at the El Rey Theatre with Tiffany Gouché, Lo Moon are at The Troubadour with Psychic Twin, Beach Slang is at the Echoplex with Dave Hause and The Mermaid, See Through Dresses, Dallas Acid with Special guest Paz Lenchantin and Rocco Deluca are at Zebulon.

On Friday 17th, LCD Soundsystem start their first night at the Hollywood Palladium, Shout Out Louds are at the Fonda Theatre with Surf Rock Is Dead & Sarah Chernoff, Gryffin is at the Wiltern, Ariel Pink has a sold out show at The Regent Theater with Gary Wilson and the Blind Dates, The Coronas are playing the Echo with YOYA, Oliver Riot, Blank Banshee is at the Echoplex, Spafford is at the Teragram Ballroom with Shaky Feelin’, Fall Out Boy are at The Forum, Michael McDonald is at the Orpheum Theatre, and Blues Traveler are at The Belasco Theater

On Saturday 18th, LCD Soundsystem is again at the Hollywood Palladium, the Regent host a special event, Circle V: A Music, Activism + Food Event w/ Moby, Waka Flocka Flame, Dreamcar, and more, but it’s already sold out. Gary Numan has a second show at the Teragram Ballroom with Me Not You, Boris is at the Echoplex with Torche and Endon, Alejandro Escovedo & The Burn Something Beautiful Band with The Minus 5 are at the Bootleg, Mayhem are at the Fonda Theatre with Immolation & Black Anvil, Chris Lake is at the El Rey Theatre with Sacha Robotti, LondonBridge, Noise Frenzy and some special guests, The EXPENDABLES are at the Roxy with Pacific Dub and Amplified, I The Mighty has a first show (sold out) at the Hi Hat with Hail The Sun, Good Tiger.

On Sunday 19th, you have to get use to it, LCD Soundsystem are at the Hollywood Palladium, Ibeyi are at The Theatre At Ace Hotel with theMind, Baio is at Zebulon with Teen Daze, Propagandhi is at the Regent with RVIVR, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, I The Mighty has a second show at the Hi Hat with Hail The Sun, Good Tiger. It’s always lighter on Sunday night!
