L.A. Burning, West Coast Concert Picks For January 10th To 16th
I am not sure why I continue to make these concert lists since, right now, most shows have been either canceled or postponed. The only concert I had scheduled for this week (Genesis Owusu at The Roxy) has been postponed till March. Maybe compiling these lists gives me hope, maybe I need some proof there is still something happening, maybe it’s a way to cope till everything is back to normal. Will the music business ever be back to normal? Will iHeartRadio ALTer EGO 2022 at the Forum will really happen this weekend? And what about Calibash 2022, the 3-day Hottest Latin Music Festival? The Golden Globes have been canceled so it’s not very logical. But more importantly, will Bjork postpone her shows at the Shrine scheduled for the end of January? We shall see. Otherwise, American Nightmare are at the Fonda Theatre, L.A. Witch and Poppy Jean Crawford have a show at The Lodge Room, and Tropa Magica are playing at the Paramount.
