Again, a full week with an incredible amount of shows everywhere. Each time, I feel I am only scratching the surface of the LA music scene.

On Monday 19th, Dr. Octagon are at The Belasco Theater, A Tribe Called Red are at the Resident, Zee Avi is at the Moroccan Lounge with Dana Williams, Sutter Zachman, Conan are at The Echo with The Ditch And The Delta, Yidhra, and Iron Chic are at The Hi Hat with Racquet Club, Dead Bars, Garrett Dale. As for the residencies/free shows, Jesus Sons continue theirs at the Echoplex with SOS, Easy, Grave Flowers & His Bongo Band, Heptagon are at The Satellite with The Unending Thread, World War, Deep Fields, SAÍGO is at the Bootleg Bar with Axel Mansoor, Gangplans, Susy Sun, It’s A School Night! has Kitten, Beginners, DRAMA, Roses and Revolutions at Bardot, and Mia Doi Todd and the Magic Wanderers are at Zebulon with Jade Castrinos.

On Tuesday 20th, Bananarama are at The Novo By Microsoft, Girlpool are at the Echoplex with The Hotelier, Special Explosion, Adan Jodorowsky is at Zebulon with Rudy De Anda, Marty Grimes is at The Roxy with Wes Period, Dagne, Dave Steezy, Kurt Rockmore, and Keith Canvas, Amy Shark has a sold out show at The Troubadour with MILCK, Bower, High-Functioning Flesh, L.A. Drones, Terminal A, Boy Scouts Of Annihilation, Margaret Garrett (Mr. Airplane Man) are all at the Echo for a benefit for Sean Barger, Newsboys are at the Wiltern. Hearty Har have a release party at The Hi Hat with Levitation Room, Dream Phases, An Evening with the Julian Lage Trio is sold out at the Bootleg, and Shamir is at the Moroccan Lounge with Sizzy Rocket.

On Wednesday 21st, tUnE-yArDs are at the El Rey Theatre with Sudan Archives, Bruno Major is at The Masonic Lodge At Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Bahamas are at the Teragram Ballroom with The Weather Station, Carla Bruni is at the Orpheum Theatre, Warm Brew are at The Roxy with Sham1016 and Amirsaynothing, Daikaiju, The Manx, Melted Bodies, Slut Island are all at the Echo, WHY? are at the Regent Theater with Florist, Henry Hall has a residency at the Satellite with jdv plus and Coyote Run, Palehound, Weaves are at the Bootleg theater with Young Jesus, FACIAL, The Entire Universe, Yip Yops are all at the Moroccan Lounge, and All Pigs Must Die are at the Hi Hat with Baptists.
