The problem with King Princess’s Cheap Queen is that we wanted the fluffier sexuality of “1950” and “Pussy Is God” and instead got the overwhelming hard rock and pop beats of “You Destroyed My Heart,” bummer gay love 101.
Well, King Princess is back, with a song she has had in her pocket for years and guess what? It’s bummer gay love with an arched back and backbone and a love over with a rock and soul feel and a harshness that unmellows you with its guitar lick. A good song but still not what we want.
Love her wig in the video…
