At 24, it sounds like Kelsea Ballerini has had her heart broke into a million little pieces and along with it, a painful book of memories.
She sang about that pain along with a comeback theme. “I don’t want to be another heart in your graveyard. In the cold hard dirt that you throw down.”
She sings ballad after ballad from her 2017 successful Unapologetically Album.
“I Miss Me More” and “Get Over Yourself” sets the girl power tone for the night with her spirits high, light, fun as her songs are all catchy for the small crowd. In her 17 song set in the PlayStation theater – there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. The age range was young to old and everything in between. She was quite nostalgic with “High School” and “In Between”. She has a loyal audience that came out to see her hour and a half performance.
It’s nice to see some country in NYC especially in an intimate setting. In the heart of Time Square while the new “Grand Ol’ Opry” venue gets up to speed. . She sang a few of the crowd pleasers “Legends” “Dibs” and “Yeah Boy”
Kelsea was nominated in 2016 for Best New Artist at The Grammys.
