Kanye West May Be In Debt, Asks Mark Zuckerberg For $1 Billion Investment

As I was trying to find something to write about, all I could get was a Kanye story here, another Kanye bit there, he is wining, everyone is talking about him. He was on Saturday night Live this weekend, he has just released his album, ‘the Life of Pablo’, so everyone is talking about him and sadly he makes the world fulfill his self prophecy, he is the biggest rock star in the world?…. Except that he still fails to impress me. For me, there are only two explanations to the Kanye West phenomenon, either he is trolling around and one day he’s gonna say I was kidding from the beginning!… or he is totally insane and in this case he needs serious help. I am not the one saying this, on Friday, his longtime songwriting collaborator Rhymefest, who has worked on many songs (‘Jesus Walks’, ‘New Slaves’) tweeted he was done working with Kanye because the rapper was basically mentally ill: ‘my brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal.’… ‘what I’m saying isn’t any inside information it’s plain to see,’ he added. This guy seems very sane in my book, and he has been working with Kanye very closely, so this is certainly someone’s opinion to consider.

What confounds me the most about Kanye is not his self-proclamation of genius status – actually it does, but there is worst than this – but it’s rather the delusion he puts in everything he does… why does he think he is saving the world with his rap songs and fashion line? ‘I am consumed by my purpose to help the world’ he wrote on Twitter… ‘I really do believe that the world can be saved through design,’ he said in front of students. No, it doesn’t, what is he talking about? There’s no way his beige refugee-camp-style fashion show will make the slightest impact on the rotation of the earth as he seems to imply, as it is quite grotesque to compare Kim Kardashian to the Virgin Mary (as he does in his new song Wolves’). It’s no even blasphemy, something I never considered, it is just plain idiotic.

What else do you need to be convinced that Kanye has reached a no-return in narcissism and self-aggrandism? Oh yeah, he has declared to be in debt a few days ago, ‘I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt… Please pray we overcome…’ $53 million in debt when you own this house? May be it is time for some downgrades? But this is not even the point, who knows exactly what’s going on, when he basically tweets whatever insane thoughts go through his mind. On Saint Valentine’s Day he did it again:

‘Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas’… ‘after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time.’

Ha, another day in Kanye’s life! Talking about yourself in third person is already a bad sign but you know that Zuckerberg owns Facebook and not Twitter, right? So may be you are using the wrong social media to reach him.
