John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale Awarded “The Jay Dudley Luce Foundation Award for Nonprofit Leadership 2023” for Let Me Help, Inc Foundation
John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale was granted the honor of the 2023 award for “Nonprofit Leadership” for his benevolent work with his “Let Me Help, Inc” foundation created by him after the passing of his mother from Covid. The event was an extravaganza, welcoming the most glamorous, courageous, and fun-loving guests. There were performances, socialites, entrepreneurs, and of course J Luce’s indoor Complete Playground produced by Alex Resnick.
The event featured entertainment from Dr. Chen Wang, a concert pianist whose skills were beyond awesome and whose performance was completely unbelievable. Also performing was 21 year old Jewels Harris, whose autism did not interfere with his unique gift on the keyboards. The guests were also treated to the voice of Quinn Lemly who is a beautiful and talented ball of fire.
All eyes were on SohoJohnny with the other guests clamoring to take pictures with him. Sohojohnyy is not only a philanthropist, but it’s also a major real estate figure with his company Pep Real Estate, an actor, a producer, and a kind-hearted entertainer. He owns the Tribeca Record Label and has gotten many celebrity artists to become involved in his Let Me Help, Inc foundation, benefiting those less fortunate by way of the gift of music, dance and laughter.
The work that J. Luce is doing for children and children’s education and well-being is beyond reproach. Many leaders of the community came and were also awarded deservedly. DeCosta Headley for example is an award-winning philanthropist and entrepreneur and has always been a leader in East New York, and Brownsville, including his post as District Leader for the 40th Assembly district in East New York. Lorraine Silvetz, MSW and Robert Silvetz run the nonprofit Global Stress Initiatives for treatment of veterans and service members, domestic violence, and their survivors of trauma, struggling with PTSD. Lorraine was also one of the hosts of the evening and special thanks to her for inviting me to this gala festival.
