Last night (4/5) at Flash Factory in NYC, a Bernie Sanders benefit show went down with a handful of bands, including Wild Belle, The So So Glos, and the live debut of NAF (aka Nice As Fuck). NAF is a supergroup of sorts, with Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis, Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Forster (aka Erika Spring), and Tennessee Thomas of ’00s-era LA band The Like. That makes this the second band Tennessee Thomas and Erika Forster (both huge Bernie boosters) formed together in the past year, the other being Summer Moon with Nikolai Fraiture of The Strokes.

The three of them had teased NAF prior to the show, sharing pictures on Instagram of the trio and tagging them NAF and/or “nice as fuck.” Here are a few pictures and a very short video clip from the show:

A band no one’s heard outside of a NYC with a name suitable for the Fool’s Hall of Fame, a “supergroup.” “Tennessee Thomas,” from Los Angeles. The cornucopia of subtle hilarity, priceless.
