Is Kanye West Really Running For President?

On the 4th of July night, Kanye West has announced he was running for president in the 2020 election, writing on Twitter: ‘We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States, #2020 vision.’… To what Tesla CEO Elon Musk replied: ‘You have my full support!’ It’s not as if Musk had never praised West (see below).

Wasn’t Kanye $53M in debt in 2016? Then, suddenly, he announced he was a billionaire in 2020, not only debt-free but billionaire! I understand he sold a few of these Yeezy sneakers, but how did he do that? I haven’t found one article clearly explaining the situation, and how he did it.

Didn’t Kanye hang out with Trump at his golden fifth avenue tower in 2016, then at the Oval Office in 2018? Kanye was caught wearing the MAGA hat at numerous occasions, he praised Trump and called him a great friend, and there are photos of the two posing for photographers, hugging… it looked like a joke, but they seem to get along very well. Two narcissist men cheering their respective egos.

If you fall into a Twitter rabbit hole about Kanye West and his potential money laundering, you will find plenty of leads suggesting that Kanye has had plenty of connections with Russian oligarchs, I would suggest starting with this one, showing that Kanye bought his wife Kim a $14 M condo in Miami from Alex Blavatnik, Lenoard Blavatnik’s brother, an oligarch who had business ties to Russian Oleg Deripaska… Deripaska is known for his connection to Paul Manafort, convicted of tax fraud, bank fraud and failure to report foreign bank accounts, he has also been accused of having links to organized crime in Russia and has been interrogated by the FBI about money laundering, just to mention a few things. There are also pics of Kanye hanging out with Roman Abramovich’s wife, who was living in Oleg Deripaska’s mansion. Roman Abramovich, a Trump family’s longtime friend, was a key member of President Boris Yeltsin’s inner circle, recommended him Putin, and has seen his Evraz steel stock doubled in price since Trump was elected. He has also been awarded US pipeline contracts and if you read anything about him, it’s clear he might be involved in money laundering or have contact with criminal organizations. And Kanye was hanging out with his wife? Why? Furthermore, Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘True Form’ was released exclusively in Europe, Russia, and Ukraine, … why Russia and Ukraine?

So it’s not too much of a stretch for people to make the link with Kanye West hanging out with rich Russians and the disappearance of his multimillion debt… Could he have benefited from Trump’s best friends and Russian connections? Why would Kanye be so in love with Trump so suddenly? This could explain many things.

But is Kanye West really running for president? Kanye’s presidential candidature could well be a publicity stunt (Kanye has an upcoming album, ‘God’s Country’), as he has been teasing us about running for president for a few years, but it could also be a serious announcement to boost his ever-inflating ego. He certainly has the money, Gap Inc. recently entered into a 10-year deal with West for a Yeezy line of clothing.

According to what I read, it is already too late to make the ballot in certain states like Texas, New York, Illinois and he just has a few days left to collect 130,000 signatures to make it in Florida, 12,000 in Michigan, and 200,000 in California. So it’s not as easy as he thinks.

But why would he be running against his best friend Trump? The theory is that he is doing this to divide the African-American vote and take votes away from Joe Biden, and so help Trump’s re-election. But to go back to the first idea regarding Kanye’s links to Russian Oligarchs, Kanye’s running for president could be doing Trump a big favor and help the Russian connection… Could Kanye be another pro-Trump, pro-Russian asset?

One thing is certain, Kanye West is out of his mind and a walking paradox, praising Trump, and giving money to George Floyd’s daughter, saying slavery was a choice, and joining a Black Lives Matter protest in Chicago… He is not well, he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, he might be used by people or using other people, he might be joking or serious. Everything is possible with Kanye, except for any rational thought… And you thought that 2020 could not get worse?
