on the Chicago house scene nearly 30 years ago,
Green Velvet has gone on to become one of the most well-respected names in underground electronic music. With over 20 years of releases under his belt, the Relief
frontman still keeps
things fresh in 2018 with pulsing singles like “Pez,” on his own imprint in July.
Detroit techno legend and Planet E
label head
Carl Craig, who shared his intricate electronic-classical album Versus in 2017, will join Green Velvet for a special guest appearance along with British sensation Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs with his only announced US performance for the rest of the year. Rounding out the lineup are UK house duo and Toolroom Records signees Prok & Fitch, longtime Green Velvet collaborator and Chicago house queen DAJAE, and Brooklyn’s own JDH & Dave P of the duo FIXED.

La La Land debuted just this year at Holy Ship!, the roots of
the series traces back to 2001 when Green Velvet released his classic single,
“La La Land.” The party-centric track goes hand-in-hand with the fun-loving
vibe of La La Land. With the series already touching down at Miami
Music Week, EDC Las Vegas and Electric Forest in addition to its Holy Ship!
debut, New Yorkers can look forward to an evening of non-stop dancing augmented
by bubbles, balloons, and stunning visuals.

“I am
so excited to be bringing La La Land to NYC because it is one of my favorite
cities in the world. Celebrating its diversity of culture, music, and fans is
what La La Land is all about. And bringing it to the iconic Brooklyn Mirage is
nothing short of awesome!” –
Green Velvet

with a pulsing KV2 soundsystem, world-class lighting and mesmerizing 3D video
projection mapping along with delicious food vendors, multi-level viewing
