Governors Ball Lineup 2019 Here

I dunno guys, sure it is all about the experience and we are all agreed, right – but where is that one mindblowing name? At least last year had Eminem, when your headlines can’t sell out MSG or Barclay, what are you selling? The last time Tyler, The Creator played Gov Ball he was AT THE SMALL STAGE, the last time he performed in nyc he was at Hulu. Florence was at Barclays. However, once you get past the headliners, the line-up  improves!

However, there is certainly no Ariana Grande, while hip hop is represented (Nas, Vince Staples, Denzel Curry, Joey Bada$$), POP IS COMPLETELY IGNORED. Maybe (maybe) Major Lazer) but no DJs, no Calvin, no benny bianco…

THE STROKES – In 2014 the Strokes defined YOLO with an all hits mid-afternoon performance that was simply legendary, then they sucked in 2016, so your guess is as good as mine for 2019.

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE  – Unbearable hippie with a great voice.

TYLER, THE CREATOR
NAS
SZA – SZA was outstanding opening for Kendrick last year.

MAJOR LAZER
THE 1975 – Biggest rock band around

JORJA SMITH
KACEY MUSGRAVES – The future of country(ush)

BEAST COAST (JOEY BADA$$ + FLATBUSH ZOMBIES)
LOUIS THE CHILD
KAYTRANADA
BAZZI
THE INTERNET – Top r&b band

PLAYBOI CARTI
MITSKI – The hottest singer songwriter anywhere

LILY ALLEN

TY DOLLA $IGN – Unless he’s in prison

NONAME – Had a great 2019 ALREADY!
CHARLI XCX
JESSIE REYEZ – I knew she’d be out of that opening position soon.

KING PRINCESS – Singer songwriter for lesbians everywhere.
BOB MOSES
DENZEL CURRY
CLAIRO
HIPPO CAMPUS
RAVYN LENAE
SABA
AMBER MARK
THE VOIDZ
ROLLING BLACKOUTS COASTAL FEVER
CAUTIOUS CLAY

DENNIS LLOYD
SOCCER MOMMY – The indie band of choice.

MILES KANE
DREAMERS

I believe you mentioned a bit too less about Playboi Carti and others. You just went on praising Eminem and Ariana, others were good too. Playboi Carti is the next big thing. Hoping for attend his 2020 concert. Anyone up for it?
